Fame Forum IV Modern Semi-Hollow Honey Burst HighglossAm Anfang dieser Bewertung muss ein ganz herzliches Dankeschön an Tim Waider vom Musicstore stehen! Er hat mich beim Kauf wunderbar betreut, gewogen, fotografiert und organisiert und mir so zu dieser exzellenten Gitarre verholfen. Großes Kino, noch einmal herzlichen Dank!
Ich wollte eine leichte und vielseitige (ja, und optisch ansprechende) Gitarre für die Band haben, und mit 3,2 kg Lebendgewicht, vielfältigen Klangfarben aus den Humbuckern plus Piezo und einem wunder schönen Honey Burst, das bei meiner Gitarre ins Rötliche geht, erfüllt die Fame Forum IV Semi Hollow alle meine Wünsche. Sie kam perfekt verarbeitet und gut eingestellt bei mir an, ich musste lediglich die Oktavreinheit einiger Saiten etwas nachjustieren. Nach penibelster Suche nach Verarbeitungsmängeln konnte ich lediglich an den Rändern des F-Loches ein paar Poliermittelreste finden, mit einem angefeuchteten Wattestäbchen kein Problem.
Der Hals passt perfekt in meine eher kleine Hand, wer die Hälse der Fender American Standard Strats oder Teles kennt, wird sich gleich zu Hause fühlen. Die Saitenlage war optimal eingestellt und die so spielt sich die Fame wie Butter. Die vielfach bewährten Humbucker verleihen der Gitarre eine ausdrucksstarke Stimme, der Piezo ist das Sahnehäubchen. Eine Klangregelung vermisse ich nicht, wozu gibt es (Multi-)Effektgeräte!
Insgesamt bin ich, wie man dem Vorangehenden sicherlich entnehmen kann, schlicht begeistert. Dies ist nicht meine erste Gitarre – 16 andere drängeln sich bei mir zu Hause – aber als Allroundgitarre meine beste. Ich habe nur einen kleinen Verbesserungsvorschlag: Strap Locks sollten ab Werk installiert sein. Das wäre der Qualität der Gitarre einfach angemessen!
