Here we have a nice pair of headphones, very accurate and detailed sound. Theyre so confortable you can wear them for hours and never suffer from ear fatigue. If your home studio doesnt work particularly well on stereo image or bass reflections, then youll necessarily need a pair of these beauties in order to achieve a reliable mix. theyre "open back" though, not half-opened, and that is why you never feel like theyre blowing compressed air into your ears even at a high volume! Used to cost a lot more than this when they came out. Iwould definitely buy them again!
These are the BEST earphones for Studio Mixing. Im speaking of TRADITIONAL STUDIO MIXING (real music, with real musical instruments, real artists playing music and singing ...). Very clear well balanced and precise sound for a comfortable silent mixing session. Still, for the final hearing and checking of the mix, a pair of great studio speakers is always necessary.
