Ebtech Hum Eliminator HE 2

The Ebtech HE-2 Hum Eliminator is a hum eliminator, featuring two channels, 1/4" smart jacks, a cold rolled steel housing, and dimensions of 4.75" x 3.5" x 2.63". This hum eliminator eliminates AC humming and prevents humming loops, leaving the grounding intact. This device is passive and requires no power at all. Featuring a custom Isolation Transformer to break loop antenna that causes ground hum or buzz, this device converts back and forth between balanced and unbalanced connections and prevents the cable from acting as an antenna for noise.

Place a channel of the Hum Eliminator on the cable connections between the two offeding piece of equipment, and it will not affect the audio quality detrimentally - it will only improve it. The 1/4" smart jacks accept any combination of balanced (TS) or unbalanced (TRS) plugs. This device is completed by a cold rolled steel housing, hand-soldered circuit boards, and top quality components and hardware.
