It's a beautiful Stratocaster, the neck is perfect, the pickups sound clear and defined, overall the playabilty is amazing. It feels like a more expensive guitar, definitely a step ahead of the standard mexican version
Having owned and played many strats over the last 20 years including some very high end models, I can safely say this guitar is fantastic. In fact a friend of mine who previously owned a 50's custom shop reissue has commented on how little difference there is between the two guitars. Lovely fit and finish, great pickups and a very comfortable neck. Good job on the classic player models fender. Service from dv247 was great too. Very happy customer.
The American vintage pickups sound great, really nice soft v neck, I'm used to c shape necks but this feels very comfortable. After a little bit of setting up it's playing and sounding like twice the price! Position 4 on the switch selects neck and bridge pickups which is a bit odd, but if you want neck and middle you can place the switch between position 3 and 4, say 3.5 and this gives you neck and middle pickups. Very happy with this one!!
