Underneath the Closet Classic finish, which recreates the subtle life traces of a carefully preserved vintage original, a rosewood body with generous resonance chambers and a bolted rosewood neck provide an extremely resonant sound with crisp response and finely resolved chime in the trebles. The pleasantly practical "'60s Oval C" neck profile also provides agile playing characteristics on the 21-fret rosewood fingerboard, which is set as a tribute to the Sixties "Round Laminated" method on the curved neck top.

Handwound Texas Special Single-Coils
For the pickup of the Limited Edition Rosewood Telecaster Thinline the Luthiers of the FenderCustom Shop choose handwound Texas Special Single Coils. The pickups are equipped with Alnico V magnets and wound coils and capture the resonant chime of the rosewood construction, resulting in a very lively Clean and Overdrive sound at the guitar amp. The Fender Greasebucket tone circuit, which also filters low frequencies from the sound image when cutting back the treble, also promises particularly smooth Treble roll-offs without the sound being washed out.
Schaller "F" tuners on the headstock with Custom Shop badge ensure precise tuning of the electric guitar.

Last but not least, the Limited Edition Rosewood Telecaster Thinline electric guitar features perfected Vintage-Style hardware that combines traditional looks with contemporary functionality. On the body, the '58 - '52 bridge with the strings routed through the body supports the resonant sound of the electric guitar, while string tabs from the Custom Shop Research Division (RSD) promise exact intonation of each string. Behind the bone nut, classically styled Schaller "F" tuners ensure precise tuning with unshakable stability.
