I replaced the old Schallers on a 1989 Fender Strat Plus. These ones fit right into the slots and had the exact same finish. A great feature of these new ones is that you have to try really, really hard if you're going to succeed in loosing tge thumbwheels.
Bought a guitar that came with these as standard and ended up upgrading all my guitars to locking tuners, why anyone would use anything else is beyond me!!!
Fender modern locking tuners...need I say more? Got the brushed ones for nostalgic reasons to replicate a 1989/90 Deluxe Strat Plus I used to have. They also feel nicer than the usual chrome finish.
