1x10 bass combo with 100 watts power and 4-band EQ
With the Gallien Krueger MB110 Gallien Krueger presents a convenient 1x10 bass combo with Class-D power amp, which can be transported comfortably from the classroom to the rehearsal room due to the surprisingly low weight. Due to the 100 watt power amp and a 10" custom design speaker, the compact bass amp delivers a surprisingly powerful sound with a strong bass foundation and silky highs. In addition to the Contour switch for general lowering of the mids, the GK MB110 offers a 4-band equalizer that, due to Variable-Q technology, also presents extreme settings of the tone controls musically. For direct miking of the bass sound on stage or in the recording studio, the Gallien Krueger MB110 is also equipped with a balanced direct out with a selectable tap point via pre/post switch.

Been looking for a versatile combo amp for my double bass to use for trio gigs. Before I was using a Markbass 801 (too weedy), occasionally connected a Hartke 300w cab (waaaay too heavy). The sound and output on this is pretty decent for the intended use and price. My bass is fully carved and I use a realist sound clip. The amp seems to capture the nuances of the bass and after my first gig with this amp, I was complimented on the authenticity of the sound. It’s incredibly lightweight which is a plus, although with that it doesn’t seem particularly robust. However, perhaps I’ve been conditioned to believe that weight equals quality! But some of the components such as the dials do feel a little cheap - this is a budget GK after all. Very happy overall though - big (enough), beautiful sound, and equally as portable as my Markbass.
