In the construction of the 1961 ES-335 Reissue, the Gibson Custom Shop To achieve an airy, resonant tone without feedback, the top, back and sides are made of three-ply maple-poplar laminate and stabilized by a solid maplecentre block. The mahogany neck, glued with hide-glue and long neck heel, offers extremely comfortable playing characteristics with the surprisingly slim "SlimTaper '60s C" profile, allowing you to perform the classic techniques of Blues and rock with ease. The vintage patina of the VOS nitro finish also conveys the look and feel of an ideally aged period original.
Two Alnico-III-reinforced custombuckers and a hand-wired electrics with paper-in-oil caps promise authentic vintage tones.
