The K&M 20811 Overhead Microphone Stand, Black is a two-piece folding design that extends to over 4m and as such is very suitable for organ and choir recordings. There is an extra safety ring for stability. The extension tube has a 1/2" thread connector. The stand can optionally be combined with boom arm 21231.

This is a lot of stand for the money simply in the weight of materials alone! Typical high build quality as you’d expect from K&M and it’s very fast and easy to erect unlike some C-stands. Just be wary of the size of this stand if you need to transport it to different filming locations often. Pictures can be deceiving. Check the folded dimensions will fit inside your vehicle (I only just got away with it).
