The Cerberus Bass Amp by Kuassa Cerberus is a comprehensive bass guitar amplifier plugin for beginners and advanced bass guitarists. It offers numerous possibilities of sound modulation at a reasonable price, starting with three adjustable effect types, one parametric and one switchable graphic equalizer zone. Many presets help you predefine the sound before you edit it further. In the loudspeaker zone of the plug-in, you can also emulate various classic microphones and precisely determine their position on the amp, including their tilt and distance. This results in endless theoretical sound combinations that come very close to a hardware recording environment. An excellent plugin for bassists who need a lot of control over their sound but still want to get a good result quickly and clearly.
In the effect type zone you can switch between tube sound or FET or even switch on an Overdrive. Gain, compression and Contour controls give a rough sound. The sound can be further shaped independently of these effects with a semi-parametric equalizer zone with low, low-mid, high-mid and high zones with low and high boosters and adjustable frequency band for the mids. If this EQ is not enough for you, a second graphic equalizer can optionally be switched on, in order to raise or lower individual sound areas more specifically. The special feature of the plugin, however, lies in the free positioning and selection of microphones in the loudspeaker zone, where even the angle of inclination of the microphone to the amp can be determined. In addition, stereo panning and the level of each microphone can be controlled individually. With this clear and yet comprehensive plugin, you'll be on a par with a real recording environment in almost every respect.
