Brings echoes to life
With the Maestro Discoverer Delay, the long-established effects company sends a particularly versatile echo effect pedal for electric guitar into the race, in whose heart traditional BBD analog technology (Bucket Brigade Device) ensures a first-class sound. Furthermore, Maestro equips the Discoverer guitar pedal with a switchable modulation effect to bring the echoes to life.
Analog BBD Delay
The Maestro Discoverer's all-analog circuitry uses a classic Bucket Brigade Device (BBD)to deliver echoes with 20 ms to 600 ms delay time and an unmistakably warm vintage sound character. Here the delay and sustain controls grant full control over the delay time and the number of repetitions, so that from crisp slap-back Delay to atmospheric echo landscapes any sound idea can be realized.
Switchable modulation
The modulation effect, which can be activated via the Mod switch, brings the Discoverer's echoes to life on demand. Depending on the position of the internal Range and Width controls, the modulation provides the subtle fluttering sonic character of a traditional tape echo or a deep breathing vibrato.
