With the Maybach Teleman T54, the noble manufacture ties in with the mojo of the early series-produced electric guitars of the fifties. The instruments, which are manufactured exclusively by hand, meet the high Maybach standards for wood selection, electronics and finish and are equipped with high-quality hardware in the form of single coils from the German pickup winder Amber. Of course, the T54 has been given the traditional butterscotch finish with ageing treatment to represent authentic nitro paint cracks and traces of a well maintained original over the years.
Both the finish and the nickel hardware of the Maybach Teleman T54 have been artificially aged.
Sugar Pine & Maple Neck
The construction of the Teleman is based on a classic and lightweight Sugar Pine Body with authentic shaping, which is screwed to the maple neck. Its profile reflects the fat and powerful playing feeling of traditional'50s necks and provides good handling from headstock to neck foot. All dimensions in the form of the saddle width or the proven scale length of 25.5 inches follow astonishingly accurately the model of 54.
The Maybach Teleman T54 Butterscotch Aged comes with a Hardshell Case.
Amber Single Coil Pickups
For authentic twang sounds, the Maybach team uses nothing less than the know-how of Amber's pickup gurus. The German pickup manufacturer has made a name for itself among fans of high-quality boutique pickups and delivers crisp and assertive sounds in all positions with its single coil set. The coordinated set offers a balanced output and mixes wonderfully in the intermediate position.
