In-house Velvetrone pickups, solid hardware from Hipshot and Gotoh and heat-treated tonewoods make the Aquila Aged 6 Daphne Blue an absolute premium instrument.
Contoured alder body & hard rock maple neck
The quadruple bolt-on neck in a slim C-profile provides the basis for advanced playing techniques and carefree playability in all positions. It is made from hard rock maple and, thanks to TEW treatment (Tonally Enhanced Wood), is optimized both in terms of swing characteristics and stability, while the rosewood fingerboard with 24 stainless steel frets in extra jumbo format serves as the ideal basis for the most demanding lead acrobatics. The wide cutaways of the body with ergonomic scoop ensure unhindered access to the highest fretboard positions.
Mayones Velvetrone humbucker & Hardware by Hipshot and Gotoh
With its double humbucker configuration, the Mayones Aquila Aged 6 electric guitar has a particularly versatile sound and is equipped for a wide range of possible sounds. At the bridge, the Mayones Velvetrone Chori humbucker offers a sound spectrum rich in overtones with a balanced Output for expressive sounds from Clean to high gain, while the Velvetrone Solium humbucker is available at the neck for silky clean and crunch sounds with rich warmth. The Mayones Aquila Aged 6 is completed by a Hipshot Fixed Bridge, six Gotoh 510 locking tuners and Schaller Security Locks.
