The Meinl 16” HCS Crash is made of MS63 brass alloy and has a traditional finish. It produces a smooth attack and has an overall warm feel to it, particularly suited to Rock and Pop.
Good cymbal for the price. Not the smoothest sound but you get what you pay for and I wanted something I could hit without having to worry too much about the damage I would do it. This fits the bill for practicing, keep my better cymbals for performances. Sound is not too bad and as I said, for the price it's excellent.
