Bass amplifier with tube preamp, 800 Watt Class-D amplifier and extensive tone control, including gig bag
With the Mesa Boogie Subway WD-800 top, the Californian amp company follows the wishes of countless bassists and expands the popular Subway series with a bass amplifier using a Class A tube preamplifier. Accordingly, the compact top features a particularly warm bass sound that can be precisely adjusted using the semi-parametric equalizer, passive mid-range control and stepless high-pass filter. The response characteristics of the up to 800 watt Class D power amplifier and the connected loudspeakers can also be influenced with the "Power Amp Damping" function. Last but not least, the Mesa Boogie Subway WD-800 features a balanced direct-out, switchable level and tap point, a serial effects path and headphone jack.
