Custom electric guitar from Music Man
With the Music Man Luke 4 SSS HT RW Diesel Blue, the traditional US company Music Man is giving Toto's Steve Lukather's successful model, which has been celebrated for 30 years, a welcome upgrade. The fourth version of the ergonomic guitar design in SSS version offers a wide sound spectrum of three HT single-coil pickups which, in combination with the outstanding resonance characteristics of roasted tonewoods and extended active electronics, are guaranteed to give every riff and lick sufficient assertiveness. Naturally, the Luke 4 also offers the 2-point floating Tremolo for extended playing techniques and six Schaller locking tuners in the famous 4+2 headstock arrangement.
The Music Man Luke 4 SSS represents the fourth version of the extremely popular hatch and comes with some useful upgrades.
Roasted Maple & Roasted Alder
To give the Luke 4 improved resonance characteristics, the tonewoods used for the body and neck have undergone a roasting process. The alder body features classic Luke contours with wide-ranging Cutaways for unimpeded playing in the highest fretboard positions, while the Forearm Contour provides a comfortable rest for the right arm. The basic construction of the Luke 4 is completed by a 5-piece bolt-on roasted maple neck with a comfortable soft V-profile and a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with a modern 12" radius.
Music Man HT Single Coils & Active Boost
The three Music Man HT single coils in the neck, middle and bridge positions of the Luke 4 have been specially designed with the aim of producing the highest possible Output with a powerful bass response and simultaneous clarity without background noise. A sophisticated silent circuit is used for this purpose, which skillfully suppresses the typical single-coil hum and provides pure single-coil sounds with defined Attack and high-resolution trebles. A boost function is also available via the push/push function of the volume control, which gives the outgoing signal a boost of up to 20 dB if required.
