With Traktor Pro 4, Native Instruments raises the popular DJ software to version 4.0 and surprises with new functions that really pack a punch and open up further creative possibilities for users that go beyond the usual DJ requirements. Many of the already familiar basic functions have been optimized so that little changes to the familiar workflow. But Native Instruments has never been known to stop at just optimizing common features, and the developers went all out with the new features for Traktor Pro 4 .
One of the most important new features in Traktor Pro 4 is Stem Separation, which has been implemented using iZotope's RX technology and makes it possible to precisely isolate individual elements from existing songs such as drums, bass, instruments and vocals and add effects to them. Thanks to the visual representation of each individual waveform, it is possible to apply filters and effects with the utmost precision to achieve the perfect sound. Native Instruments laid the foundations for the Stem concept almost 10 years ago, which was then implemented using a proprietary file format. This file format was based on a data container that contained four separate individual tracks that could be manipulated independently of each other.
The new flexible beatgrids are perfect for seamlessly switching between genres or mixing tracks with varying tempos. Loops, beat jumps, beat effects, layering and beat alignment can be performed with high precision without compromising audio quality.
Just like a step sequencer, the pattern player allows you to integrate sounds from legendary drum machines and renowned producers into your own sets. This function offers a variety of percussion kits, including signature drums from industry icons such as Rebekah, Luke Slater, Len Faki, Chris Liebing, Dubfire and many more.
