The XDJ-RX2 is a 2-channel all-in-one DJ controller for rekordbox with many features and design elements from the flagship NXS2 setup. The successor of the popular XDJ-RX offers a 7" touchscreen in the middle above the mixer section and further features from the CDJ-2000NXS2. In addition, the rekordbox DJ system has eight large multi-color performance pads per deck and features the layout and performance features of the DJM-900NXS2 for professional mixing. The XDJ-RX2 also features link export for rekordbox with dedicated USB port, two mic inputs, one aux input, two line/phono inputs and two USB type A ports on the top panel. On top of that there is a license key for the rekordbox dj software.
The license key of the software is closely connected to the hardware and can only be registered once! Since the software can therefore not be transferred to a new buyer, we can unfortunately not grant the otherwise usual 30-day right of return after registration of rekordbox DJ. Since your satisfaction is very important to us, we have a solution for you: Please use the fully functional 30-day trial version of rekordbox DJ, which you can download and install from the Pioneer DJ website. So you keep the 30-day right of return when you buy.
The 7" touch screen displays detailed track information plus sync status and waveforms on both decks. Thanks to Wave Zoom, it is possible to see the current playback position more precisely. Other features are the large rotary selector, needle search, track filter and short cut, just like the CDJ-2000NXS2. In addition, there is the QWERTY keyboard on the display, which can be faded in and used to find your tracks as quickly as possible.
The XDJ-RX2 delivers EQs and channel faders that work with the same curves as the DJM-900NXS2. Apart from that, you can make your mixes more creative with Sound-Color-FX and Beat-FX, which also come from the club mixer.
Eight large multi-color performance pads per deck with access to popular features such as hot cues, beat jump, beat loop and slip loop provide the basis to make his performances even more creative. Furthermore it is possible to store up to eight hot cues in each deck.
With Pioneer´s music management software rekordbox you are able to prepare your tracks for your gigs on a PC or Mac by analyzing the BPM and setting hot cues and loops. Thanks to the USB port on the back and the link export mode, you can connect your laptop to the DJ system and play your tracks right away, without having to export them to a USB storage device beforehand.
