The Roland DJ-505 is a two-channel, four-deck Serato DJ controller that blends the advanced performance capabilities of Serato DJ with the legendary sounds and sequencing of Roland’s TR-808 and TR-909 drum machines. The DJ-505 gives you the tools to move beyond mixing music to creating beats and rhythms on the fly that sync to your Serato DJ tracks, enabling the creation of unique transitions, live remixes, beefed-up classic tracks, or your own original music.
Like the flagship DJ-808 and compact DJ-202 controllers, the DJ-505 is a powerful and inspiring instrument that allows unparalleled flexibility to DJ, remix, and produce, empowering exciting new approaches to music performance. And with its standalone mixer functionality, narrow footprint, and Serato DVS upgrade path, the DJ-505 is an ideal controller to pair with turntables or CD players.

Easy to use and packed with easy to use features. Some reviews state the chassis is plastic but the decks are actually metal covered which makes the unit not only more durable, but even more value for money. Great sound quality. Recommended item.
I was excited for my order to arrive, which came in 6days from ordering. When I opened it up I wasn’t at all disappointed. It’s a great looking unit with loads of functionality and the added Trs beat pad is really cool, needless to say I was straight into mixing, after a short download of the software to my Mac. The large low latency pads are awesome for scratching and have a great feel to them. All in all it’s a really cool piece of kit and really easy to navigate. The only downside to this unit is it feels a bit plastic and some of the knobs feel a little fragile at times.
Great controller, excellent value for money. Very happy DJ
I'm very pleased to have the Roland DJ 505. Very good piece of software and the controller is easy to use. The drum machine is the real added value. If you want to combine production and mixing, this product is for you.
