With the Squier Limited Edition Classic Vibe '50s Esquire MN Butterscotch Blonde, Squier sends an authentic reissue of Leo Fender's first series model into the race, offering an authentic vintage feel and sound at an affordable price. Despite the puristic-looking appointments with a Fender Designed single-coil at the bridge, the Squier Esquire delivers a surprisingly broad sound that ranges from crisp twang for blues and rock to the velvety sound of jazz. In position 1 of the 3-way selector switch the pickup is controlled only by the volume control, while position 2 provides the familiar layout with volume and tone controls. Position 3 of the switch links the volume control with a treble roll-off network that provides a dark sound with subtly reduced output. With a pine body and bolt-on maple neck in a comfortable "C" profile, the Squier Limited Edition Classic Vibe '50s Esquire MN Butterscotch Blonde is also historically accurate in construction.

Superbly packaged. I was pleasantly surprised at how good it looked straight out of the box. Needs a little adjusting of the action,but it was good to go,plug it and play it right away. Sounds great plugged into my Laney tube amp, with all the classic esquire tone i heard on YT .Beautiful light maple neck and fretboard. And solid hardware. I can't believe how good it is for the money.
