Portable 2x2 USB Audio Interface with iOS Compatibility
The Steinberg UR-22 MkII USB Audio Interface is equipped with two inputs and two outputs that are both XLR/jack combo ports equipped with excellent D-Pre Class-A mic preamps. The first input comes with switchable phantom power for condenser microphones and the second can be used as a Hi-Z Input for instruments such as an electric guitar or an electric bass. Therefore there is enough space to record a vocalist with a mic and a guitarist separately. Furthermore audio recordings with the UR22mkII can be made with a resolution of 24-bit/192kHz. This USB audio interface is suitable for almost any application thanks to its bus powered design and comes with Cubase AI and Cubasis LE.

This is a quality product for a budget home studio. I have some problems with a guitar that is peaking of the guitar is at full volume though, but the other guitars I have is no problem. Solid build, so no risk of breaking it.
Basically it's just a box that sits beside my mixer and does it's job very well. There was a strange noise at first every now and then but once I had installed the latest driver all was fine. Not that it's important but the look of it is very professional . Definitely a good buy and replace my previous interface which was giving me problems. I assume that as I am using Cubase it is a good match as they are bothe Steinberg products.
It is fairly basic but that is the level of this item. The included software is very basic and probably not worth the hassle of downloading but the item itself works fine with ableton which is how o have used it. Simple to get the drivers and get set up.
Fantastic service from DV247, ordered and delivered quickly with no fuss. The unit is robust with a solid feel to the metal case and easy to set up.In use an analog synth was recorded into ableton and was rewarded with a clean, dynamic, noise free signal. Feature wise 2 D-pre pre amps, a separate headphone volume control, midi in/out and powering options make in conclusion a tempting purchase at just £110.
