The TC Electronic Ditto X Looper Guitar Effects Pedal allows users to truly express their creativity by easily adding layers, soundscapes and effects with just the ease of your feet and features dual loop tracks. Most strikingly for a loop pedal, it also allows users to shift directly from one independently synced loop to another in the same way a verse would to a chorus.
By perfectly merging ease of use with stellar creative features like dual loop tracks, 7 loop FX, loop decay and MIDI sync, Ditto X4 Looper will instantly become the canvas on which you paint your multi-layered sonic masterpieces.
Even though Ditto X4 Looper basically offers endless creative possibilities, it still honours the core principle of TC’s famed Ditto Looper. Simplicity! No drum-machines, no deep-editing menus or other time consuming tech-nonsense, only immediate unfiltered fun.
If you thought that having one loop track was fun, then wait until you try running two interweaving and perfectly synced tracks at once. It will blow you away! Run a 4 bar percussive beat in loop 1 and a 16 bar chord progression with endless layers of ambient textures underneath in loop 2, or simply have your verse and chorus set up in each track and seamlessly switch between them for an unforgettable on-stage performance.
The main features of the TC Electronic Ditto X Looper Guitar Effects Pedal includes:
Don't listen to the hate, it does sync to midi, you just need a good clock source with a play button to trigger it. Great and very creative piece of kit. I'm well impressed. Top notch price as well.
A sturdy stomp box and a big one! Check the dimensions if you're short on space. There are a variety of applications for a looper and different users will want different ways of working. The Ditto is thoughtfully designed so that you can configure it and operate it according to your needs. If you want a looper and figure that two channels of stereo is right for you then this can probably be set up to work as you wish, and may well give you ideas for working in ways you hadn't thought of. I'm using this for more ambient style soundscapes and it's certainly good for that, though it is primarily aimed at those who want to sync their loops.
In addition to looping what you play into it, you can load audio from a computer and use this for backing tracks while simultaneously looping a loop. Audio is retained when powered down.
Good, versatile looper for a reasonable price. Simple to use with a few usable effects.
Solid construction with the 4 mini switches on the rear making it ideal for ambient playing.
Pity the power supply issued is unusable in the UK. Emailed DV247 many times about it but had no reply.
