The Dowina Cabernet GACE is a solid electro-acoustic guitar from the Dowina Vintage Series and convinces with a tone wood top made of Dolomite spruce and a solid body made of rosewood. With an L.R. Baggs Stage Pro Element pickup system, the instrument in Grand Auditorium design is ideally equipped for stage performances and recordings in studio quality.
Carefully crafted transitions and selected woods characterise the Dowina Cabernet GACE.
Dolomite Spruce & Rosewood
Dowina Cabernet GACE uses selected spruce wood from the southern Alps of Italy as the top wood. The tone wood grown in high regions provides a direct and percussive response in flatpicking and strumming and a sound image rich in overtones with organic dynamic behaviour in fingerpicking. Finally, the character of the Cabernet is complemented by a rosewood body with present low midrange and crisp, appealing basses.
Practical: The L.R. Baggs Stage Pro Element can be operated via the control panel in the Cabernet GACE frame.
L.R. Baggs Stage Pro Element
With the L.R. Baggs Stage Pro Element pickup system on board, the Cabernet GACE becomes a true all-rounder from unplugged sessions to band rehearsals to an enhanced stage performance. The acoustic sound image is picked up by a 2 thousandth of an inch thin sensor under the bridge insert and processed by means of Stage Pro Preamp for amplifiers or recording devices in studio quality;
