The ESP LTD Eclipse '87 Black is an authentic reissue of the original Eclipse from 1987 in the correct TE-archtop-shape, behind which a first-class metal guitar is hidden despite the classic style. The heart of the elaborate neck-through construction is the three-piece maple neck in a swift "Thin U" profile, while mahogany body wings support the punchy sound. The established combination of a Seymour Duncan '59 humbucker at the neck and a Seymour Duncan JB at the bridge provides rich rock and metal sounds with high output and first-class tone definition. A Floyd Rose double-locking tremolo and LTD Die-Cast tuners complete the features of the ESP LTD Eclipse '87.
