Epiphone Les Paul Special-II Electric G uitar, Ebony
This was my first ever guitar. After 3.5 years of playing i was surprised at how durable this guitar is.This guitar is great for all styles of playing from reggae to blues. I use this for jamming and it is great fun. This is my favourite guitar from my 4 guitars and it has served me well and deserves a 4 star reating.

It is very good guitar for learning to play. it has unbeatable rate price / performance. Guitar has satisfactory sound. According to some owners it has occasional problems with tuning (but it seems that only some pieces have this problem). There is a possibility to choose from various colours (and all are very nice).

Very affordable for the quality purchased, was definitely a good purchase epiphone guitars have a very nice sound. Quality of materials is really good for the price tag so it can take alot of damage and play without any problems. I would say its a great beginner/intermediate guitar for any type of music, would recommend. :)
In my opinion this is one of the best guitars for beginners because it is cheap but it sounds and plays good. It is very durable. Quality of materials is really high for the price so it will lasts for a long time without any problems. Very suitable for many styles of music
I looks really nice but I fear that the paint quality might not be top notch on the head. After just a few weeks, I just noticed that it had started to disappear where it is in contact with the guitar stand.. Regarding the sound, well, I'd say it's okay.. for it's price tag. However, when hooked up with my teacher's Vox tube amp, I noticed some cracking noise. Is his amp to good for this guitar that it highlights its weaknesses? Once again, for this price, one can't expect miracles.
