The SUB 18P, the largest model in the Challenger SUB series, can handle up to 600 watts of continuous power and can also absorb peaks of up to 2400 watts without any problems. Thanks to the large 18" diaphragm, the SUB 18P delivers true deep bass down to 30 Hz. With a weight of 38 kg, the subwoofer remains pleasantly transportable despite its robust construction and heavy, powerful diaphragm! The SUB 18P is therefore the ideal solution when it comes to uncompromising bass performance with massive pressure. Ideal as a bass solution for powerful PA systems for live music and club/ DJ applications.
With its Challenger SUB Series, FAME audio offers passive subwoofer solutions for a variety of professional applications. Available in three sizes with different woofer configurations (SUB 12P, SUB 15P and SUB 18P), you will find the matching subwoofer for every room and PA speaker system.
Similar to all subwoofers, the highly stable bass reflex housing is made from solid multiplex wood. This guarantees not only an indestructible, tour-suitable frame, but also excellent vibration characteristics which are reflected in a precise, accurate bass reproduction without unwanted, annoying resonances.
A robust lacquer finish and the sturdy front grille ensure an attractive appearance and high robustness. Four recessed handles, professional Speaker Twist connectors and the M20 tripod flange allow for professional handling and compatibility with commercially available spacer rods, such as the SAT 20 with pneumatic hub.
