Of course, the Fender '62 Jazzmaster Journeyman Relic Super Faded Aged Fiesta Red comes in a matching hardshell Case and with a certificate of authenticity from the FenderCustom store.
Alder body & '62 Jazzmaster neck
The basic construction of the Fender '62 Jazzmaster Journeyman Relic Super Faded Aged Fiesta Red is composed of a two-piece alder body in classic Offset-Design and a bolt-on neck made of radially sawn maple (Rift Sawn) , which features the classic C-shaping of the early sixties with its '62 Jazzmaster profile . The neck is finished off with a Round-Lam glued rosewood fingerboard with 21 frets in medium jumbo format.
Custom Shop Single Coils with classic circuit.
Of course, the '62 Jazzmaster relies on the traditional circuitry consisting of two circuits. The separate Rhythm and Lead circuits feature separate controls for Volume and Tone for the two Fender Custom Shop Jazzmaster single coils. The Lead circuit features a three-way pickup selector switch and traditional controls for Volume and Tone, while the Rhythm circuit activates the neck pickup and has its own "roller" thumbwheels.
Historically correct hardware
The hardware appointments also follow the 1962 specifications, using the famous Fender Vintage floating tremolo in combination with a resonant Fender RSD Jazzmater/Jaguar bridge for smooth pitch embellishments, while the six vintage-style tuners contribute to the classic look of the Jazzmaster headstock. Finishing off the Fender '62 Jazzmaster Journeyman Relic is a tasteful Super Faded Aged Fiesta Red nitrocellulose finish and a four-ply Brown Tortoiseshell pickguard.
