The Focal Shape 65 6.5" Active Studio Monitor (Single) features a 40Hz-35kHz frequency response (+/- 3dB) with a maximum sound pressure level of 109dB. The Shape 65 is the reference of the Shape line. Although dedicated to nearfield monitoring, this monitor enables extraordinary monitoring quality, in the lowest to the highest frequencies. Made in France, this monitor provides a wide and precise stereo image and remarkable acoustic transparency.
The Shape monitors combine an ingenuous design and numerous settings optimised for the acoustics of small listening rooms. Featuring a 1" tweeter with very low directivity for a flexible listening position, this monitor is designed without a port, but with a double passive radiator, allowing it to be placed near a wall. With numerous settings for optimal integration, this monitor offers accurate control, even in the very high end. A flax sandwich cone produces a controlled and articulated bass, natural and detailed lower mid-range and upper mid-range registers.
