With the Gibson 1957 Les Paul Custom Reissue Ebony 2-Pickup presents Gibson Custom Shop an authentic new edition of the very Les Paul Custom first in iconic Tuxedo Look . Accordingly, the deep black VOS nitrocellulose finish conceals a one-piece mahogany body with a vaulted ceiling and a glued mahogany neck in the "Chunky C" profile whose mother-of-pearl Ebenholzgriffbrett Block inlays mark the layers. Two Gibson Custom buckers with -III Alnico magnets also promise an authentic Vintage sound in the best PAF tradition, while the hand-wired circuitry with oil paper capacitors enables optimum tuning of the sound image. Last but not least, the Gibson 1957 Les Paul Custom Reissue features an authentic Hardware No-Wire ABR -1 bridge, Aluminium tailpiece and Kluson Waffleback tuners.
For the construction of the Gibson Les Paul Custom Reissue Ebony 2 Pickup, he Gibson Custom Shop naturally relies on the historically correct design. Accordingly, the body is made of mahogany in one piece, whereby the careful selection of wood ensures a comfortable weight. The glued mahogany neck with the strong "Chunky C Shape" profile also lies comfortably in the hand and thus supports the classical playing techniques of blues and Rock . Last but not least mark in Ebenholzgriffbrett "1950s Pattern " Block inlays of real mother-of-pearl the layers.
The electric sound conversion of the Gibson 1957 Les Paul Custom Reissue Ebony is performed by two Custom Bucker Gibson pickups in neck and bridge position. Equipped with -III Alnico magnets, they Humbucker convince with an authentic PAF sound, whose warm midrange spectrum combined with airy highs and organic dynamics expressive electric guitar play in the genres of blues, Rock or Jazz skillfully supported. The hand-wired circuit with CTS potentiometers and historically correct "paper-in Oil " capacitors permits optimum tuning of the sound image with harmonic treble roll-offs.
Last but not least, it Gibson 1957 Les Paul Custom Reissue Ebony 2-Pickup has a historically correct Hardware gilding which skilfully supports the elegant tuxedo Look of the electric guitar. The body is equipped with a Ted-designed McCarty combination of Stopbar tailpiece and No-Wire ABR -1 Tune -O-Matic bridge, which allows an optimal adjustment of intonation and string position. Behind the Nylon saddle, Kluson Waffleback mechanics with wings on Pearloid the head plate also ensure precise and stable tuning.
