GIBSON ES-175 Figured Vintage Sunburst
Hollow body electric guitar with '57 classic humbuckers, including case
With the Gibson ES-175 Figured Vintage Sunburst, the Gibson Memphis Division presents a modern interpretation of the Hollow Body electric guitar, which has been in the range since 1949 and which skillfully bridges the gap between past and present. The classic construction with maple laminate and mahogany delivers the legendary Jazz Box sound, while '57 Classic Humbucker and modern hardware promise modern handling.
The Gibson ES-175 Figured Vintage Sunburst combines classic and modern features into a contemporary electric guitar for jazz.
The intensively drawn top layer of the maple laminate used offers an elegant look.
Classically constructed Hollow Body with noble optics

The top, back and sides of the full resonance guitar are made of a 3-layer maple laminate, with the top layer made of intensively drawn curly maple for a noble look. Accordingly, the guitar delivers a sonorous primary sound whose smooth tone development provides the perfect basis for classical and modern jazz styles. The mahogany neck with "Rounded C" profile promises high playing comfort.
With two '57 Classic Humbuckers, the Gibson ES-175 Figured delivers a warm guitar sound with sonorous articulation.
Classic humbuckers for warm sounds

The classic circuit with 3-way toggle switch and individual volume and tone controls per pickup is available to control the sound.
The ABR-1 bridge is mounted on a rosewood base and has titanium string riders.
Contemporary hardware in a classic look
Furthermore, the Gibson ES-175 Figured convinces with contemporary hardware, whose classical look fits perfectly into the sound of the big jazz guitar. The strings of the strings are held by a classic trapezoid tailpiece with a "Three Diamond" embossing and from there are guided over the ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge mounted on a rosewood base. The strings are made of titanium, which promotes an even sustain and a brilliant overtone spectrum. At the headstock, the strings first run over a bone saddle before being tuned by the precision Grover Milk Bottle Rotomatics, whose characteristic shape of the housing matches the
