Electro acoustic guitar, dreadnought, all solid with Sitka spruce top, walnut body, pickup system, case
With this affordable studio version Gibson Hummingbird Studio Walnut WB, the Montana-based manufacturer is expanding its entry-level range with a chic electro acoustic guitar with the typical characteristics of the Hummingbird classic from the 1960s. Unlike the original, this fine studio version is equipped with a noble walnut body, which enriches the bright sound of the Sitka spruce top with warm basses and a fast response that is further enhanced by a thin nitro finish and a sophisticated scalloped X-bracing. Although without hummingbird engraving, the large pickguard makes it clear at first glance that this excellent instrument is a member of the popular Hummingbird family and creates a detailed and aesthetic appearance. The typical short mahogany neck with a walnut fretboard decorated with mother-of-pearl parallelogram inlays allows the player to easily grasp the instrument in all frets, offering enough space for solos or extensive chords thanks to a nut width of 43.8 mm. A built-in Fishman Sonitone pickup system amplifies the acoustic sound of the guitar in a very natural way. The Gibson Hummingbird Studio Walnut WB guitar comes in a sturdy shaped case and including a Gibson Accessory Kit.
