The Gibson Michael Clifford Signature Melody Maker Satin Jet Black Cherry was developed together with the lead guitarist of the Australian band 5 Seconds of Summer. Despite its extremely straightforward concept it surprises with versatile sounds. In addition to a swamp ash body whose grain is highlighted in red by the silk-matt "Jet Black Cherry" finish, Michael Clifford wanted a glued maple neck in a handy "Rounded" profile and a Richlite fingerboard with striking "Red X" inlays. On the guitar amp, the single Gibson Burstbucker 3 on the bridge promises muscular PAF sounds with an assertive midrange spectrum. In addition, the Gibson Michael Clifford Melody Maker offers a coil split circuit for authentic single coil sounds and a kill switch that significantly expands the repertoire of tonal expression. High-quality hardware in the form of Tune-O-Matic bridge, stopbar tailpiece and Grover tuners completes the Gibson Michael Clifford Melody Maker.
