With the Ibanez Bass Workshop SRD900-CBS Cosmic Blue Starburst Low Gloss, the cult guitar and bass manufacturer from Japan is sending a semi-hollow electric bass into the race, which is not only characterized by a beautiful design and outstanding playability, but also impresses with a versatile sound thanks to the combination of Nordstrand pickups, a piezo pickup and the active 2-band EQ. The SRD900 comes with a body made of okoume and a top made of exotic maple, the grain of which shines through the Cosmic Blue Starburst Low Gloss finish and creates an extraordinary look. The five-striped maple/walnut neck is complemented by a panga panga fingerboard, which, with 24 frets and a 12" fingerboard radius, provides sufficient space and comfort in the lowest and highest registers. The two Nordstrand Big Break pickups are characterized by a rich sound with enough punch for assertive sounds, while the active Preamp with 2-band EQ enables additional sound refinement. The SRD900 also features an AeroSilk piezo pickup, which can be used as required via the separate piezo volume control and conveys the pure acoustic sound of the instrument.
