The Jackson JS32TQ Dinky DKA 6-String Electric Guitar Transparent Blue is a 6-string, 24 fret electric guitar in a gloss transparent blue finish.
The JS Dinky Series is an affordable yet high-quality series that endeavours to make it easier than ever to get the classic Jackson tone and feel without breaking the bank.
The Jackson JS Series now features upgraded striking aesthetics, new high-output ceramic-magnet pickups, a graphite reinforced maple neck, bound fingerboards and headstocks, and black hardware for a distinct and classy finish.
The JS22 Dinky has a Poplar body with a quilted top that is attached to a bolt-on Maple speed neck that has been reinforced with graphite to ensure maximum stiffness and durability. The JS32Q HT is a surprisingly well made guitar for the 266€ music store is selling them.
I was after a guitar with high output pickups to record some metal riffs, and was looking at Ibanez RG/RGA/S series, but the Jackson seemed to offer a similar package for less money so ordered the JS32Q HT Dinky.
Pros:
- Well made
- The maple top looks good and makes this guitar look like a high end one.
- Light weight = can play standing for long hours without any shoulder/back pain
- Stock Jackson pickups are surprisingly good, clear and tight.
- Stays in tune well
- Hard tail is much easier to live with than a cheap floyd rose
Cons:
- The stock tuners are a bit flimsy and lack accuracy but they hold tuning well.
- Factory strings are absolute rubbish.
All in all for 266€ this is a very good guitar and does the job perfectly!
This guitar is really great and sounds good! Also wonderful colour. I can recommend this guitar.
This guitar is very affordable, and it has many interesting and attractive features.
The guitar was in need of some slight adjustments, specially in the FR bridge (which might not be the best implementation of the system, but is perfectly operable nonetheless).
It sounds perfectly fine too, but to be honest, the most prominent characteristic are the striking aesthetic qualities. The looks.
This is a truly gorgeous guitar, beautiful shape with vibrant colors. It's really a treat. It's worth every € just for that IMHO.
If you add great handling, and the super nice jackson neck (one of the most comfortable and fast neck designs out there)... I just can't complain.
So, summarizing, this is a decent sounding well built and wonderfully looking instrument.
