The Laney Ironheart IRT15H-2 amplifier condenses the DNA of the hardcore Ironheart amps from the English Black Country into a handy 15-watts top that, despite its minimalist concept, delivers rich rock and metal sounds for the recording studio or jam session. Depending on the settings of the gain and volume controls, the guitar amp delivers multi-faceted tones ranging from rich clean to massive distortion, with the switchable pre-boost releasing additional gain reserves on demand. In addition to the classic 3-band tone control, the Laney Ironheart IRT15H-2 offers dynamics and tone controls for adjusting the bass response and treble in the power amp, while the integrated reverb effect can be used to give the sound harmonious spatiality. The Laney Ironheart IRT15H-2's 15 watts of power derived from two EL84 tubes can be reduced to less than 0.1 watts if desired, allowing the amp to be used at home. As a special feature, the Laney Ironheart IRT15H-2 also offers live and silent record outputs with speaker simulation for direct pickup of the guitar tone on stage or in the recording studio.
