The Pioneer TORAIZ SP-16 is a professional sampler and step sequencer with integrated 7 inch full color touch screen for DJs and producers. With the 16 step sequencer you can create up to 256 patterns and via Pro DJ link and MIDI clock everything is always in the right timing. The extensive sound generator is equipped with the excellent sounding analog filters from Dave Smith Instruments ´ Prophet-6 Synthesizer. In addition, the intuitive sampler provides 16 multi-colored performance pads with velocity mode, which allow you to manipulate, play and layer one-shot samples in real time thanks to the powerful processor. Furthermore, the Pioneer TORAIZ SP-16 has an 8GB flash memory and can therefore work as a stand-alone device completely self-sufficient, so that there is no need for a computer in the DJ booth. With the Pioneer TORAIZ SP-16, DJs can become even more creative during their performance or in the studio.
The 16-fold step sequencer offers you the possibility to create up to 256 different patterns. You load your sounds into the sequencer and can immediately fire them again and modulate them with the six endless knobs. For a quick overview, the buttons light up in the color you assigned to the sound. Of course, you can save the patterns so that you can recall and play them during your performance.
The Pioneer TORAIZ SP-16 features a large 7-inch full-color touchscreen that provides detailed sample information. Whether fast browsing, retrieving samples or assigning the color to the respective sample, all this and the editing of further parameters are possible via the touch display and the knobs below.
The multicolored performance pads with velocity mode can be fed with up to 16 different samples and played directly. The pads reflect the colors you have assigned to the samples. The pads invite to finger drumming or layer multiple sounds. Velocity mode allows you to adjust the volume of a sample to the velocity of a pad.
The integrated 8 GB flash memory offers sufficient memory to allow the sound generator to work in stand-alone mode or does not require a laptop for use. In addition, the TORAIZ SP-16 provides enough power to play all 16 samples simultaneously and modulate them in real time with timestretching, pitch bend or amp envelope.
Pioneer in cooperation with Dave Smith has equipped the TORAIZ SP-16 with analog filters from the cult synthesizer Prophet-6. With the three dedicated dial controls, you have direct access to cut-off, resonance and drive. Optimal for shaping sounds and providing them with presence and real analog warmth.
Pro DJ Link lets you sync your one-shots and loops with the timing of the master deck. This can be a connected CDJ or XDJ. So your sounds never get out of hand. Thanks to MIDI clock, other devices connected via USB also stay in sync.
