Sterling by Music Man JV60: Swamp Ash and Roasted Maple
For the construction of the Sterling by Music Man JV60 James Valentine, a body of swamp ash and a neck of roasted maple are used, which are connected to each other in a particularly stable way by five screws. The maple wood is treated in a vacuum oven, which causes it to lose a large part of its residual moisture and gives it much greater stability. With its comfortable profile, the neck also provides the perfect basis for classical and modern guitar playing techniques.
Versatile Pickup combination with active boost
The pickup assembly of the SBMM James Valentine consists of a Sterling by Music Man single coil in a wide humbucker housing at the bridge and a Sterling by Music Man humbucker at the neck. This classic combination delivers a particularly wide range of sounds to the amplifier, which skilfully implements both aggressive rock sounds and soft, cleanly played melodies and chords. In addition, the electric guitar is equipped with an active booster that is activated via the push/push volume control and boosts the signal by 12 dB, providing additional gain and volume reserves.
High quality hardware
The Sterling by Music Man James Valentine Signature electric guitar is completed by a high-quality hardware equipment that promises unlimited functionality. Accordingly, the Sterling by Music Man Hardtail bridge with six string tabs made of bent steel sits on the body. Thanks to the String-Through-Body construction it supports the attack and, thanks to the two-dimensional adjustability, also guarantees perfectly adjusted intonation and string action. From here the strings with classic 25.5" scale length (648 mm) are guided towards the enlarged head plate. Locking tuners in the characteristic "4+2" arrangement ensure precise tuning.
