The Bugera V55HD Guitar Valve Amplifier Head is a boutique-style amp head that delivers that captures the legendary tones of the ‘60s.
The Bugera V55HD features a hand-built, vintage-styled chassis that is equipped with a pair of 6L6 tubes that pump out an impressive 55 watts of power. This is paired with an all-valve 2-channel preamp that takes its cues directly from the 1960’s and is more than capable of producing tones that range from sparkling cleans to classic crunch.
The preamp of the Bugera V55HD all-valve amplifier head is equipped with a vintage EQ that features dedicated bass, middle and treble controls along with a separate presence control. The Lead channel features a multi-gain input stage with its own controls for pre- and post-gain and master volume, as well as a mode switch that selects pentode or triode operation. The two channels can be easily switched thanks to the included 2-button footswitch.
The Bugera V55HB also comes equipped with a stunning reverb with its own dedicated level control, as well as normal and bright inputs that allow for the perfect tone to be easily achieved for multiple guitars.
The main features of the Bugera V55HD All-Valve Guitar Amplifier Head include:
This is a good head by Bugera.
Its clean sound is heavenly and if that is what you are looking for, then stop looking because youve found it.
Its blues/crunch vintage sounds are near perfection, and the price/performance balance ratio is very high.
The drive channel is great for rock, but if you want to play heavier sounds my advice would be to buy a distortion pedal. That way you are sure you will be completely satisfied (you can find cheap ones that are very good, I did!).
This head comes with a footswitch that really comes in handy. Its just a basic footswitch, one button switches between clean and crunch sounds, while the other mutes reverb (wich is very useful sometimes).
I can recommend this for begginers but in my oppinion this head is best for those that know what kind of sound they want.
Cheers.
Its 2-channel preamp takes you everywhere from warm blues to garage shattering crunch. Amazing sound from both channels, and amazing vintage look, too. Impedance switch (4, 8 and 16 Ohms) can match any speaker cabinet. I use it with a Bugera 212V-BK. Also useful is the mode switch to select between Triode or Pentode operation, for practising or for live performances. I really loved this amp!!
The amplifier is exemplary! Has a timbre and gorgeous finish! Have clean sound amplifiers based on the fender. The distorted channel in my opinion, is better than the Fender Twin Reverb. The amp is very versatile! Own cost and very good beneficil. Loved shopping at Music Store! The posting was very fast. I received the item after 18 days only. Now I am a customer of Eternal Music Store! Congratulations MusicStore for excellent service!
