DPA SBS0400 Stereo Boom With Shock Mounts

The DPA SBS0400 is a stereo boom with shock mounts.  It is designed to give engineers a quick and easy solution to setting up AB, XY, ORTF and DIN stereo mic’ing positions.  The build quality and method of operation mean these setups are also precise and repeatable.

The SBS0400 can hold omnidirection and directional microphones of all sizes due to its use of the Rycote Lyre suspension system.   Measuring 40cm in length, the SBS0400 has markers indicating parallel mic’ing positions, 90 and 100 degree offsets for XY and ORTF setups, a central base with a rotary joint to allow the microphones to be angled equally and hooks at either end so that the boom maybe suspended from wires.
