The Prime 4+ from Denon DJ sets new standards with the revolutionary Engine DJ Stems feature. It is currently the only standalone controller with this feature that allows you to precisely isolate or remove vocals, melody, bass and drums from any track. This ground-breaking technology opens up limitless creative possibilities for customising DJ sets, creating exciting remixes or producing unique performances. Engine DJ Stems takes DJ sets to a new level and redefines the boundaries of what is possible.
Denon DJ presents the Prime 4+, an updated version of the first 4-channel standalone DJ controller on the market, the Prime 4. The new version features a 10.1-inch touch display for controlling and manipulating effects and 10% larger jog wheels than the previous model, with high-resolution displays, showing cover images of the songs playing.
The Prime 4+ features 25 customizable Main FX and 4 dynamic Sweep FX that can be applied to individual channels via the mixer section. Built-in Wi-Fi connectivity allows, thanks to Engine Lighting, custom or automated light shows and access to streaming services such as Amazon Music Unlimited, TIDAL, Beatsource, Beatport, SoundCloud Go+, and Dropbox, each of which requires a subscription with the provider!
In situations where there are no Wi-Fi options, the Prime 4+ offers with four USB inputs, an SD card slot and a 2.5-inch SATA drive bay sufficient options to integrate external storage media into the workflow. furthermore, devices such as CD players, turntables or media players can be easily connected and used with the Denon DJ - Prime 4+ via the four analogue inputs.
The Denon DJ Prime 4+ offers a 10.1-inch multi-touch display, which can be used to make individual settings in the device's system. It can also be used to select tracks from the and different views of the waveforms, as well as to control and modulate effects with your fingers.
The jog wheels built into the Prime 4+ have been slightly enlarged compared to the previous model and offer the high-quality, haptic response that you have come to expect from Denon DJ products. The central HD display shows either covers, performance information or a customised DJ logo. The RGB light rings on the jog wheels can be colour-coded to help users keep track of what's going on.
The mixer section of the Prime 4+ is based on the Denon DJ X-1850 club mixer from the Prime series. It offers four channels that can be used either with software, the integrated Engine Prime OS, or analogue end devices such as turntables, CD players, or media players. Each channel has a 3-band equalizer, gain control, sweep FX and the option of assigning one or both effect chains to the channels.
The zone output of the Prime 4+ allows a separate area to be played with completely different music than the main area via the master output thanks to a clever routing option. This is ideal for areas where, for example, muted lounge music is to be played and guests can continue to chat.
