With the SC Live 2, Denon DJ presents a 2-deck all-in-one DJ controller that allows all functions and configuration options to be controlled via the 7-inch multi-gesture touchscreen. External media such as USB sticks,external hard drives or SD cards can be connected to the available interfaces and used ad hoc. The system software Engine DJ analyzes the music in no time after it has been loaded into one of the 4 decks and you can get started immediately. The workflow becomes more effective when the music has beenanalyzed and organized on the computer via the Engine DJ software and exported from there to the medium of choice. The metadata has then already been written into the ID3 tags, eliminating the need for analysis by the SC Live 2. The SC Live 2 was equipped with a Wi-Fi interface and can accesscloud/streaming services such as Dropbox, Beatport, Beatsource, SoundCloud Go+, TIDAL and as an absolute novelty and so far unique, Amazon Music Unlimited content. Prerequisite for this is aconcluded subscription to the respective streaming / cloud service! In addition, the Denon SC Live 2 supportsDJ programs such as Serato DJ Pro and Virtual DJ (not included!), which allow you to use music on the computer with the SC Live 2 and control the software via it.
Jogwheels
The jog wheel is the central control unit of a controller and essential for a haptically flawless DJ experience due to the rotary movement. In contrast to the SC Live 4, the SC Live 2 does without information on the jog wheel and focuses on comfortable operation.
Mixer section
The mixer unit built into the SC Live 2 is based on the layout of the Denon DJX1850 PRIME in terms of features. One of the four sweep FX (filter, noise, echo or wash) can be selected and controlled individually for each deck via the sweep FX knobs. The SC Live 2 also has 13 BPM FX on board for even more creative freedom!
Performance Pads
Performance pads allow users to creatively influence the flow of a track with tools such as cue points, Loops and rolls, shaping it to their own taste.
7-inch touchscreen
The 7-inch multi-gesture touchscreen allows users to keep track of the most important functions, such as access to various media sources, streaming services, playlists, lighting control, system and network configuration, and much more.
