The Prophecy SG retains the classic SG body design, crafted from mahogany and topped with a 0.75" (19mm) thick solid maple top and a curly maple veneer, giving it a refined and sophisticated visual appeal. The mahogany neck, joined to the body with the traditional glue joint, features a modern asymmetrical slim taper profile, offering exceptional comfort for the thumb in all positions. This slim design is perfectly suited to modern playing techniques, making it ideal for fast, precise movements across the fretboard.

With two switchable modes, you can easily switch between Vintage, which delivers classic PAF-style tones, and Modern, which offers the tight response and clear resolution needed for modern metal sounds.
Grover Locking Rotomatics guarantee precise tuning and make changing strings particularly convenient.
High-quality LockTone hardware
To enhance response and tightness, Epiphone incorporates the highly regarded LockTone Tune-o-Matic bridge with adjustable string saddles, lockable pins, and a matching LockTone stopbar.
