Fame Audio 5050AM Active Monitor 5" (Black)

The Fame 5050AM is the smallest member of the brand new Fame studio monitor series. Its housing is made from high quality, extremely robust MDF specially designed for these monitors. Its premium appearance is accented by brown side edges made of wood veneer and a black front which dominates the aesthetics of the 5050AM with a shock proof synthetic frame

Technically identical to its colleagues; the Fame 5060AM and 5080AM, this monitor is equipped with a 5" LF woofer and a completely redeveloped ¾" tweeter. The built-in active electronics deliver 50Watt for the LF woofer and 25 Watt for the tweeter (Bi-Amping). A controllable combo socket input islocated on the back, allowing connections for jack and XLR cables. With which the studio monitor can

be connected without problem to any source and be adjusted between -10dB and +4dB. And naturally included is also; a panel, with which the speaker can be adjusted to fit room acousticsor personal preference, and a socket to connect a subwoofer. The sound of this completely redeveloped series can easily compete with those of the reference class. Present, crisp and, considering its size, very powerful bass, cleanly separated mids, and beautiful, silky highs.
