The Fame Mini Power can supply up to 8 effects pedals at the same time, whereby 300mA is made available per isolated connection. The compact multi-power supply features bright status LEDs to display the operating status of each connection and fits on or even under most conventional pedalboards.
Important: Before connecting, please ensure that the voltage and polarity of the power supply is suitable for your effects devices!
Works very well with my setup – doesn't introduce any additional noise that I've noticed. Comes with a nice selection of power cables, and even a couple of reverse polarity adaptors.
The PSU cord is a little short, and it would've been easier to replace if it were a 9VDC supply rather than 12V, but this is hardly a problem
I use this to power some additional pedals on my board, not as my main power supply but as a power supply for my fx-loop pedals. As such it provides noiseless, isolated power to four pedals of various make that can be noisy on battery power (some of the old boss pedals I have run perfectly on this power supply for example)
With eight inputs I can then use this as a back-up supply for my board in case of emergency. It is extremely small and can sit easily between pedals on top of the board or can be placed under the board easily also with velcro as it is very light.
Highly recommended.
I use this for my pedal board with 12 pedals, it does power them good. Noise i cannot assess as i have a noisy power source at my home. But in the studio it was pretty quiet.
LED is blinding and too bright, but i put it under my Pedal board and it creates a nice hue of colors.
Its affordable and does a good job at it.
My pedalboard configuration has changed several times in the past couple of years and the power supply I was using (a 5 x 9v 120mA outputs, isolated) was fine for the job, no complaints. However, with the addition of a couple of extra pedals I was in need of something more flexible. I'm running a compressor, a couple of overdrives, distortion, delay, reverb and a looper, mostly from Boss and TC Electronics. The available solutions within my budget were either too expensive or not particularly well regarded / too noisy, etc. I opted for the Fame LEF-329 mini-power and have no regrets ! All the pedals are working without any problem, no noise, and it's small and discreet enough to fit on just about any pedalboard. Mine is attached vertically by means of a bracket to the front face of the pedalboard thus feeding 4 connectors to each side. Everything fits nicely, cables are tidied away with any mess. This seems to be the best 5-8 output power supply within a reasonable budget on the market at the moment and I'd definitely recommend it for small gigs / home use.
Amazing for the price!!
I couldn't find any other power supply which works as well as the Fame LEF-329 at it's price range.
Not only is it cheap, it is also small and compact to place on the edge of a pedalboard with not much real estate left.
It's also not very noisy.
The LED is beautiful but the only drawback being that it's too intense so in a dark stage, if you look into the LED directly you wouldn't be able to see the pedals too well...
But I am very happy with this product!
