Original-era Alder Body
With original dimensions, the body of the Fender American Original 60s Telecaster RW Burgundy Mist is made of American alder and evokes the proven Slab Body feeling of the early Teles. In addition, body and neck are finished with a thin nitrocellulose lacquer finish. This not only produces the familiar smooth handling, but also allows the enclosed wood to breathe with a resonant tone.
Pure Vintage '64 Gray Bottom Single Coils
Fender's Pure Vintage '64 Gray Bottom Single Coils used in the American Original Series are the result of a meticulous search for historically correct manufacturing steps of the early sixties. From the fabric-covered connecting cable to traditional enamelled winding wire and the use of Alnico 5 magnets, the pickups produce the famous Fender treble with balanced output thanks to stepped pole pieces.
