With the Player II Modified series, Fender presents modern interpretations of classic models - equipped with practical upgrades for an expanded sound spectrum, an improved playing feel in brand new color variations! The new Player II Modified Telecaster combines the traditional Tele sound with a modern adaptation, conveying the authentic Vintage-Sound of the solid-body model first released in 1950 in a modern guise. At the heart of the Player II Modified Telecaster are two Player II Noiseless Tele single coils, which deliver the legendary Tele twang and provide crunchy sounds, while the treble bleed circuit fully preserves the treble when the volume knob is turned down. A Fender Deluxe gig bag is included for safe transportation.

Traditional construction and modern comfort
The alder body is complemented by a maple neck, which guarantees superb handling with its modern "C" neck profile. The maple fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets and its 9.5" radius ensure a pleasantly fluid playing feel that supports both chord work and fast licks. The classic 6-saddle string-through-body Tele bridge enables a robust string action - at the same time, string changes can be made quickly and easily. The setup is complemented by Fender Deluxe locking tuners and a high-quality Graph Tech TUSQ nut.
Player II Noiseless Single Coils
The typical Telecaster sound is provided by two Player II Noiseless Single Coils in the neck and bridge positions, which deliver an extremely dynamic sound. Thanks to the cleverly integrated push/pull function, an alternative circuit can be activated via the tone control (e.g. serial wiring or parallel operation), resulting in additional sound variations. The treble bleed circuit also ensures that no treble is lost when the volume control is turned down - ideal for nuanced clean and crunch passages.
