The new Furch Blue D-MM dreadnought guitar is the latest addition to the Czech manufacturer's affordable range of instruments that are all solid. Constructed from the finest AA mahogany woods, the instrument produces warm tones, which are particularly prominent in the bass and mid-range frequencies. Thanks to a razor-thin open-pore finish and a lightweight construction, the Furch Blue D-MM impresses with its quick attack and a long-lasting tone that fades away softly in the overtones. To ensure excellent playability, the manufacturer uses a mahogany neck with an ebony fretboard, which, in conjunction with the 45 mm nut width and 649 mm scale length, allows for a clean and comfortable grip in all 20 frets. Chrome-plated die-cast tuners with a 1:18 transmission ratio allow precise tuning of the 6 steel strings, which, thanks to a compensated saddle made of Graph Tech TUSQ, intonate cleanly in all positions. The instrument is rounded off by a high-quality L.R. Baggs VTC pickup system, which amplifies and reproduces the natural sound of the Furch Blue D-MM dreadnought and can be individually adjusted via a volume and tone poti in the sound hole.
