The Masters Maple Reserve series from Pearl stands for classic drum sound of the highest quality. The thin kettles made of the finest maple wood produce a soft, open sound with classic resonant shimmer.
The equipment offers FatTone Hoops, Aluminum OptiMount and Remo Drumskins as well as a Full Size Bass Drum Cushion.
Like all Masters boilers Pearl , Masters Maple Reverse drums go through the typical 38-step painting and finishing process. In combination with the warm sound of the maple, the result is optically and acoustically extraordinary instruments that are contemporary but still have a subtle touch of Vintage convincing.
Only the Masters Maple Reverse boilers are equipped Pearl with a special reinforcement ring. This promises first of all robustness and stability of the thin boiler, but also the tonal control is thereby guaranteed.
With their resonant boilers, Masters Maple Reserve Drumkits are the ideal choice for virtually any musical style, delivering a rich, full sound with vibrant punch and smooth, round basses.
With the FatTone Hoops, the Masters Maple Reserve Drums have very thin tension tires that let the resonant sound of the kettle breathe air and thus support it. The steel tensioning tyres are strongly rounded at the upper edge, so that powerful rim shots can be realised despite the low material thickness.
Thanks to the aluminium OptiMpount system, the toms are mounted so that they can swing freely so that the boilers can unfold their sound freely. In addition, thanks to the ingenious suspension, there are hardly any cross-talk to neighbouring drums.
The skins are made by Toms Remo , Toms are equipped with Clear Ambassador skins, the bass drum has a Powerstroke 3 skins. For an optimal bass drum sound a full size bass drum damper cushion is included.
