The Rane PERFORMER at a glance
The Rane Performer is a 4-channel DJ controller specially designed forcreative performancesand is characterized by the usual quality and proven sound of Rane. It features a dual USB audio interface with high-quality 24-bit Cirrus Logic D/A converters, allowing for seamless DJ switching or back-to-back sessions. With two high-torque 7-inch motorized turntables and high-resolution 3.5-inch displays, the mixer offers a clear and authentic mixing experience. The advanced stem control functions open up a wide range of possibilities for creative DJ sets, mash-ups or remixes. A MAG FOUR crossfader with an adjustable fader curve and four precise line faders underline the suitability for professional users who value an impressive performance. The analog inputs on channels 3 and 4 can also be used to connect two different devices such as turntables, CD players or media players, making the Rane Performer a flexible tour companion.
CREATIVITY IN MOTION
The PERFORMER is equipped with 7-inch die-cast aluminum platters that offer vinyl-like responsiveness and precise feedback thanks to their high torque and acrylic discs. At the center of each platter, a high-resolution 3.5-inch LCD screen displays deck information, animated waveforms, album art and library views. With the Day Mode option, which reverses the contrast, the display remains clear and easy to read even in direct sunlight.
PRECISION FEEL FADERS
In addition to the adjustable MAG FOUR crossfader, the PERFORMER offers four redesigned PRECISION FEEL FADERS. These horizontally mounted faders with adjustable tension use the same dual-rail system as the MAG FOUR, ensuring extremely smooth, reliable and consistent operation. The faders can be further customized in the onboard menu, including the ability to reverse their orientation and adjust the cut-in curve from 0-100%.
STEMS CONTROL
The Rane PERFORMER redefines creative open-format DJing with four innovative control options for stems. Equipped with RANE's exclusive STEM SPLIT function, this controller automatically splits acapella and instrumental sections into two channels, allowing DJs to process individual elements with effects. The STEM LEVEL functiontransforms each channel's 3-band EQ into controls that can be used to adjust, isolate or emphasize individual components.
EXPANDED FX CAPABILITIES
The PERFORMER features over 25 paddle-triggered, customizable MAIN effects and four knob-controlled CHANNEL effects for versatility. The comprehensive effects palette includes traditional classics such as Reverb and Echo as well as new effects such as Scale Down, Recycler and Riser. In addition, the fader FX suite of the RANE SEVENTY A-TRAK SIGNATURE EDITION mixer has been adopted for the PERFORMER.
