The Reloop Tape 2 is a portable audio recorder with high-quality A/D converters, which allows a direct recording of a DJ set in WAV or MP3 formats (320kbit/s) in 24-bit to a microSD card. An integrated lithium-ion battery has a running time of up to 6 hours and can be charged via any standard USB power supply. Mixers or dynamic microphones can be connected via the input of the Tape 2 whilst the Thru output is available for monitoring via connected headphones or looping through the signal when Record Out is missing.
Further features of the Tape 2 are a lock/unlock function to prevent accidental stopping of the recording, input gain control with 2-colour LED feedback for easy handling even in dark environments such as clubs and several status LEDs such as Power/Rec, SD Card/Full, Signal/Peak and Battery. In addition, the DJ recorder can also be used as a card reader for microSD cards with an active USB connection to a computer. Last but not least, you can individualize the stylish cassette retro look of the Tape 2 thanks to the included sticker sets.
